KEEPING YOUR ENDS HYDRATED
As you know the ends of our hair is the oldest part which means extra attention should be paid to this area as much as possible.
When applying conditioner I always ensure that I apply the majority of the amount I use to the ends of my hair to make sure this section remains as hydrated as possible. This also applies when styling my hair.
At night time I put my hair up into a pineapple which prevents me from laying directly on my curls which also protects the ends of my hair.
When washing my hair I only apply shampoo to my scalp and then allow it to run down the rest of my strands when rinsing. Bunching all of my hair up to my scalp and massaging would result in my ends becoming tangled which would increase the likelihood of breakage occurring.
When it comes to detangling my hair, I ALWAYS start at the ends and work my way up to the roots. This puts less strain on the ends of my hair and makes the detangling process 10 times easier too! .
