Since the Rona outbreak I’ve noticed 2 important things that my natural hair needs. 1. A good deep conditioner on a weekly or biweekly basis.
2. Protective Styling because I keep my hair wrapped up and under my scrub cap or bouffant. •
I washed and deep conditioned my hair with @odysseyboxuk Queen of Nile hair repair mask. It had amazing slip and the smell was so yummy. The packaging was so Afrocentric and luxurious. I twisted up my hair and sat underneath my drier to help the conditioner penetrate my hair shaft. My hair felt so soft after rinsing the deep conditioner out and my curls were giving me life.
I then had my mom give me these bomb mini twists and we used a combination of the Empress Hair Butter and the Royal Roots leave in conditioner. Because my hair is thicker and coarser in the middle, I tend to leave a heavier leave in or hair butter to help with moisture retention.
I’ve been rocking this style for the past 2 weeks and I plan on washing my hair in these twists and refreshing them.
What’s your current quarantine hair style choice??? Are y’all deep conditioning regularly?
