Marriage is beautiful.
When we got married we were fresh out of high school, didn’t know much about the “real word”, all we really knew is that if we had each other & Christ as our foundation everything would be just as it should. We’ve had a one heck of a roller coaster ride through these 8 years of marriage so far.
Before we got married we promised each other that NO MATTER WHAT our marriage will take three, God, him and me. We’ve hit rock bottom more than once, but that’s the beauty of marriage- picking each other up, unconditionally loving one another, forgiveness to no end & always staying close to Christ to guide us. Before hitting the road we had lots of worries that Alex would be too sick to travel, that we’d have to return home & go through with his brain surgery quicker than we wanted. But man oh man God is so good. It makes me cry. God is SO good!!! We’ve been traveling for almost 3 months now & Alex hasn’t had more than 20 seizures since then. That for us is amazing, a answered prayer. Alex would have on a regular 20 seizures a day! Seeing him like that was/is so hard! We felt like our life was being bombarded by daily doctor appointments and hospital visits that left us with no answers and uncertainty. Trying to juggle our life, the kids & work was overwhelming. To be quite honest we began to doubt if God was listening to our prayers.
But see our God doesn’t do that, He is a loving God & all things will be made for His greater good. We were reminded that by many scriptures & people through those times, and are so thankful for that. Today when we look back on how life use to be we can see Gods hand, His calling for us to draw closer to Him. We see that He never left us, He was always listening and put people in our life at the exact times we needed them. Today, seeing Alex run wild playing tag with our kids was such a beautiful reminder of how awesome our God is. That the power of prayer & Gods healing hands are real! A reminder that no matter if those seizures come back or not, we will always have a firm foundation on Christ, & that is enough. More than enough. To God be the glory.
Today is 2 months you left to heaven mi Madrecita Linda! Wow😢 how I miss you. When you were alive I knew you were special & unique but now that you are gone I KNOW how special & unique you were👊🏻. I now see the strong presence you held in my life. I miss that so much❤️. I miss your daily bendiciones “Que Dios Te bendiga Hijita Linda”. Your inconditional ways of always accepting me as I am & corrected me often when you so me off(sometimes bluntly & very direct). Your constant love(a tu Manera). You were by no means perfect. But you were our GREAT MOM with flaws & all. Te Amo, Te extrano, I am having a hard time moving forward without you. But I am standing in Faith knowing you are well, happy & enjoying being in the presence of our Lord! Please pray for us (all your kids, grandkids & greatgrandkids). That we can move forward. That we all continue to want To live a life pleasing to God, being loving & United. 🙏👏🏼. Till we meet again Madrecita Linda❤️💋 #missmymami#lovemyfamily❤️#mimadrecitalinda💖😙#lovemyprayerwarriors#thankyoujesus❤️#togodbetheglory🙏#lovemyfamily❤️
